Road to Barrister: An Urban Monologue
Every day we wake up, we have a choice. This book, Road to Barrister: An Urban Monologue by Yusef Poole, can help anyone identify those choices.
We choose to get out of bed on the right side, or the wrong side. We choose whether it will be a good day, or bad. We choose whether we are going to be happy, or not. We choose our friends.
The choice of our friends is very important. Our friends are a mirror of ourselves; if we choose our friends wisely, we will grow in God, prosper, probably marry and raise children, become happy, and enjoy our lives. If we choose unwisely, life may turn out totally different. Our friends truly like mirrors providing us with a true reflection of ourselves.
Yusef Poole is a man who made good decisions. He saw the world for what it is, he was able to discern the difference between good and evil, and he chose wisely. Now he wants to provide others with a template if you will, on how to make the right decisions in life.
In his early years, he had the choice of going the right way or the wrong and he chose sensibly. His preference included God, school, college, and finally, law school. Along the way during his journey, he kept his eyes open and realized some essential truths regarding his success, why he chose the way he did, and he came to understand some of the problems of society.
In his book, Road to Barrister: An Urban Monologue, Yusef Poole identifies choices and pitfalls, he provides a guide for others to achieve success, and he gives credit to The Lord.---------
