Eight Days to Shanghai
Eight Days To Shanghai, a tempestuous adventure with a twist, entails the life and loves of Madison Wells, an elementary school teacher with a zest for life from Santa Barbara, California in the midst of a budding relationship with Roland Divine, a Napa Valley wine maker and CEO of Divine Winery.
Caught up in an untimely and messy divorce with her husband, unappreciative and workaholic architect Stephen Wells, and disillusioned over men in general, she jaunts off to China for a little fun and fulfillment. Her travels find her first in the modernistic city of Shanghai and then Beijing, where she bumps unexpectedly into a handsome young gentleman desiring to become her lover.
While passions escalate, so do tempers, as a bellhop at the swank hotel passes her a secret note. On it are scribbled only three words- ”Jiuhua," "Green," and "Cloud," words which are simple, but which will change her life forever.
